Israel’s spy chief will attend Gaza ceasefire talks, signaling progress in ending the ongoing war with Hamas. Hamas has expressed readiness to stop fighting if Israel commits to a ceasefire and other conditions. The US, Qatar, and Lebanon are involved in negotiations, with hopes for a deal following the recent killing of a Hamas leader. The situation remains urgent as civilian casualties mount in Gaza and Lebanon.
