IRGC warns Israel: ‘Don’t rely on THAAD’ – renewed threats

Iran’s IRGC chief, Hossein Salami, issued a stern warning to Israel, declaring, “Don’t count on THAAD,” as tensions rise between the two nations. Following Iran’s recent aerial attack, Salami stated, “Every time you fire a projectile, we will fire more than you.” This statement comes amidst heightened anticipation of Israeli retaliation.

In response, the US military has expedited the deployment of its advanced anti-missile system to Israel, with US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin confirming its readiness. While Austin did not specify whether the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense system (THAAD) was operational, he assured that it could be activated swiftly.

As the situation escalates, both Iran and Israel are on high alert, with the potential for further military confrontation lingering. The region remains volatile, and the international community is closely monitoring the developments.
