IRGC chief warns Israel: Don’t rely on THAAD

The Chief Commander of the IRGC Issues Warning to Israeli Regime

The Chief Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has issued a stern warning to the Israeli regime regarding the deployment of the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) battery by the US. Major General Hossein Salami cautioned Israel against relying on THAAD for defense against reprisal attacks from the resistance front.

Salami criticized the US for its unwavering support of Israel in its ongoing conflict with Gaza and Lebanon. He emphasized that the American involvement in Israel’s genocidal war has tarnished its global reputation.

Following Iran’s retaliation for the assassination of key figures, including the Hezbollah Secretary General and an IRGC commander, Israel suffered a severe blow in Operation True Promise II. Despite threats of retaliation, Tehran remains prepared to respond to any further aggression from the Israeli regime.

The warning comes as the US deploys THAAD to Israel, a move that Salami believes will not provide sufficient protection against the strength of the resistance front. He urged Israel to reconsider its reliance on limited defense systems and highlighted the potential consequences of unwise decisions.
