IRGC Chief warns against Israeli dependence on THAAD

Major General Hossein Salami, speaking at a cultural ceremony in Iran’s Kermanshah province, downplayed the capabilities of the THAAD missile defense system recently supplied by the US to Israel. He cautioned the Zionist regime against depending on THAAD, calling it limited equipment with finite power.

Salami warned that if the Israeli regime, heavily reliant on sea trade, makes unwise decisions, it could face instant collapse. He predicted that the regime is slowly digging its own grave.

In response to the Israeli assassination of key figures, Iran launched over 200 ballistic missiles towards military and intelligence bases in occupied Palestinian territories. While Israel threatened retaliation, Iranian officials have assured a harsh, proportional, and well-calculated response to any Israeli aggression.
