During the recent BRICS summit in Kazan, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan held discussions on various bilateral and regional issues. They emphasized the need to end the Zionist regime’s military attacks and talked about matters of common concern.
In a separate meeting, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and Emirati Minister Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan also agreed on the importance of halting the Zionist regime’s strikes in Gaza and Lebanon. Araqchi mentioned that they addressed several disagreements between the two nations during their talks.
Araqchi expressed Iran’s commitment to defending its interests, particularly regarding the three Iranian islands in the Persian Gulf. The discussions highlighted the shared desire to find peaceful solutions to regional conflicts and uphold the principles of sovereignty and stability in the Middle East.
