Recent data from the German Foreign Ministry revealed that Berlin has authorized military exports to the Israeli occupation totaling over $100 million in the last quarter. This decision has sparked concerns among human rights organizations regarding the potential use of these weapons in the conflict in Gaza.
Despite a drop in arms exports to Israel earlier this year, Germany approved exports worth 94 million euros ($101.61 million) since August. This has prompted the European Center for Constitutional and Human Rights to file an appeal to halt further arms shipments, citing the impact of German weapons on civilians in Gaza.
In a poignant plea, a Gaza resident who lost his wife and daughter in Israeli air strikes emphasized the grave consequences of continued arms sales. He urges Germany to reconsider its stance and cease arms exports to safeguard innocent lives.
