Egypt dispatches third aid convoy to Lebanon, evacuates hundreds of citizens.

Egypt continues to show its support for Lebanon by sending a third aid shipment to Beirut and evacuating 293 citizens from the war-torn nation, as reported by RT Arabic. This brings the total number of repatriated Egyptians to 883.

The aid shipment, weighing 23 tons, includes essential food, medical supplies, and relief items. This initiative is in response to the Egyptian President’s directive to provide support to Lebanon in light of ongoing Israeli aggression. The total volume of Egyptian aid to Lebanon now stands at 67 tons.

Stranded citizens returned

The Egyptian Embassy in Beirut facilitated the return of 293 stranded Egyptians and their families, bringing the total number of repatriated citizens to 883. Special flights operated by EgyptAir were used for their return.

Egypt is actively working to coordinate efforts with national authorities to secure a ceasefire in Lebanon and provide humanitarian aid. The embassy in Beirut continues to receive applications from Egyptians wishing to return home and will include them in subsequent evacuation flights.

The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reassured citizens in Lebanon of their commitment to providing necessary support during this difficult time.
