BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 25. The Azerbaijani Army’s “Iron Fist” counter-offensive operation, launched on September 27, 2020, in response to Armenian aggression, led to the liberation of Azerbaijani territories and the restoration of territorial integrity after a 44-day war.
Chronicle of the 27th day of the Second Karabakh War:
– President Ilham Aliyev announced the liberation of villages in Zangilan, Jabrayil, and Gubadli districts, as well as the city of Gubadly from Armenian occupation.
– An operational meeting was held with President Aliyev leading at the Central Command Post of the Ministry of Defense.
– President Aliyev reported the liberation of parts of Kalbajar and Gubadly districts during the meeting.
– President Aliyev engaged in discussions at the UN Security Council and gave an interview to US Fox News.
– Azerbaijani forces dealt a severe blow to Armenian troops in various districts and used high-precision weapons.
– Video footage of liberated villages, destroyed firing points, and Armenian military equipment has been released.
