Terrorist Attack at Aerospace Industries Company in Turkey Condemned by Azerbaijani Ombudsperson
In a strong statement, Azerbaijan’s Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsperson) Sabina Aliyeva expressed condemnation for the recent terrorist attack at the Aerospace Industries Company in Turkey. The attack resulted in the tragic loss of lives and injuries to many individuals.
Aliyeva extended her heartfelt condolences to the families and friends of the victims and wished a swift recovery to those who were injured in the attack. The terrorist incident at the TUSAŞ defense plant claimed the lives of 5 people and left 22 others wounded, with the perpetrators being neutralized.
The TUSAŞ facility, situated in Kahramankazan, is known for producing UAVs, airplanes, and helicopters, including Turkey’s advanced fifth-generation KAAN military aircraft. The attack has brought shock and sadness not only in Turkey but also in neighboring Azerbaijan.
