He criticized the United States and its Western allies for their unwavering support of Israel’s aggressive actions in Gaza and Lebanon, warning that such actions could escalate tensions in the region.
Furthermore, Pezeshkian condemned the Israeli regime for its recent aggression, including the assassination of Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran. Despite Iran’s efforts to establish a ceasefire in Gaza, the relentless attacks by the regime and its supporters disregard humanitarian values and international laws.
The meeting at the BRICS summit showcased the united stance of Armenia and Iran against destabilizing forces in the region, reaffirming their commitment to peaceful cooperation and regional stability.
