Türkiye Strengthens Defense Collaborations with Montenegro and Kosovo
Türkiye has taken significant steps in expanding its international defense partnerships by signing military health cooperation protocols with Montenegro and Kosovo. The agreements, aimed at enhancing cooperation and training in military health, were formalized during meetings held at the International Defense, Aviation, and Space Industry Fair (SAHA EXPO 2024) in Istanbul.
During the fair, Türkiye’s National Defense Minister Yasar Guler met with Montenegro’s Defense Minister Dragan Krapovic and Kosovo’s Defence Minister Ejup Maqedonci separately to discuss areas of mutual interest in military health. Following productive discussions, protocols were signed to strengthen cooperation and training in this field between Türkiye and both Balkan countries.
These partnerships underscore Türkiye’s commitment to building stronger defense ties with its neighbors and improving military health capabilities through shared training and expertise exchange. SAHA EXPO 2024 serves as a vital platform for Türkiye to showcase its defense advancements and forge strategic international alliances.
