With floodwaters rising rapidly and thousands evacuated, the Philippines faced a dire situation. The storm’s impact extended to Malaysia, with the Malaysian Meteorological Department issuing alerts for Sabah.
As Trami moved northwest, residents were urged to stay vigilant and follow updates from authorities. The devastation caused by the storm underscored the vulnerability of the Philippines to natural disasters.
