Syria and China discuss boosting bilateral ties across all sectors

China Expresses Interest in Deepening Relations with Syria

Prime Minister Muhammad Ghazi al-Jalali of Syria received a message from the Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, Li Keqiang, expressing China’s keenness to develop bilateral relations and implement agreements between the two countries. The message highlighted the historical friendship between the two nations and the recent development in their relations, emphasizing the joint efforts to achieve new levels of cooperation.

Dr. al-Jalali emphasized the strong strategic ties between China and Syria, expressing the government’s interest in enhancing cooperation, including the involvement of Chinese companies in Syria’s reconstruction. He also stressed the importance of mutual support for each other’s sovereignty and rejection of foreign interference in internal affairs.

The message signifies a commitment to strengthening the partnership and fostering mutual understanding between the two nations. This exchange reflects the shared values and goals of China and Syria in maintaining peace and stability in the region.
