The Sanaa-based Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jamal Amer, urged the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies to focus on long-term humanitarian and development projects in collaboration with the Yemeni Red Crescent Society. This call was made during a meeting with the head of IFRC’s mission in Yemen, Dr. Tamer Ramadan, to discuss increasing humanitarian projects, particularly in environmental sanitation and water sectors.
Minister Amer commended IFRC for its vital role in providing urgent humanitarian and relief aid to communities in need. Dr. Ramadan expressed gratitude for the cooperation and support received from the Sanaa government and the Yemeni Red Crescent Society.
