MSWiA Confirms: 59 Families Received Aid After Flood

After the devastating floods in Poland, the distribution of financial aid to victims has been slow. Only 59 families have received housing reconstruction grants of up to PLN 200,000, and no funds have been given for farm building reconstruction yet. The government’s promises of quick assistance have not been fully realized, with only a small percentage of families receiving aid so far.

The Ministry of the Interior and Administration attributes the delays to the thorough verification process required for each application. While additional resources have been allocated to speed up evaluations, many families are still waiting for the much-needed funds to rebuild their homes and livelihoods.

As pressure mounts on the government to deliver on its promises, the coming weeks will be crucial in determining whether assistance will reach those in need. Despite the challenges, there is hope that the payout process will accelerate significantly in the near future, providing relief to the flood-affected families.
