A drone launched from Lebanon on Tuesday evening caused widespread alarm across Israel, sending millions into shelters.
Israeli warplanes and helicopters were unable to intercept the drone as it traveled dozens of kilometers. The army announced that the drone was under surveillance and safety protocols were activated.
The Lebanese movement Hezbollah claimed responsibility for launching a drone attack on the residence of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Hezbollah’s involvement in the conflict escalated with cyber-terror attacks and assassinations of leaders, amid Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon resulting in numerous casualties and displacements.
