Revolutionizing Infrastructure for Economic Growth: Kazakhstan’s Bold Move

In a recent address during the presentation of state awards on Republic Day, Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev highlighted the country’s efforts towards economic diversification through new infrastructure initiatives. One major accomplishment was the completion of a bridge over the Bukhtarma Reservoir, easing logistical challenges for locals.

The newly inaugurated bridge, now the longest in Kazakhstan, is set to transform border areas into transit hubs, connecting China and Russia through a shorter transport corridor. Tokayev emphasized the importance of good roads for the well-being of the people, with 12,000 kilometers of highways under construction or renovation.

Aside from road enhancements, the president also mentioned advancements in air transport, with new international terminals set to open in airports. The country’s focus on diversifying the economy includes a significant increase in the export of processed industrial products, showcasing Kazakhstan’s commitment to economic growth through infrastructure and industrial diversification.
