Hezbollah Strikes Israeli Military Positions in Response to Airstrikes on Lebanon
The Lebanese Hezbollah resistance movement has launched fresh attacks on Israeli military positions in the northern occupied Palestinian territories in response to the Tel Aviv regime’s airstrikes on Lebanese towns and villages. Hezbollah confirmed the strikes as a show of support for Palestinians in Gaza and in defense of Lebanon.
Hezbollah targeted Israeli soldiers in two separate rocket attacks, while the Israeli military retaliated with airstrikes on the city of Tyre, causing civilians to evacuate. Tyre’s disaster management unit reported that the once vibrant city was now mostly empty as thousands fled to the suburbs to avoid Israeli attacks.
Israeli warplanes also targeted Khiam village near the border with occupied territories. The escalation of violence between Hezbollah and Israel has sparked fear and displacement among Lebanese civilians, with many forced to flee their homes to avoid the conflict.
