The BRICS countries have come together in unity to reaffirm their unwavering support for Syria’s sovereignty and condemn the heinous attacks carried out by the Zionist entity, particularly in southern Lebanon. In a powerful declaration issued after their meeting in Kazan, under the theme of “STRENGTHENING MULTILATERALISM FOR JUST GLOBAL DEVELOPMENT AND SECURITY,” the BRICS nations emphasized the importance of respecting Syria’s sovereignty and safeguarding its territorial integrity.
The Group strongly denounced the Israeli aggression on the Iranian Embassy and the destructive actions in Lebanon. Expressing deep concern over the escalating conflicts and instability in the region, especially in Lebanon, the BRICS states voiced their condemnation of civilian casualties and infrastructure damage caused by the Israeli attacks on residential areas. They called for an immediate halt to hostilities to prevent further harm.
