The Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully shot down 57 Russian attack drones on the night of October 23, 2024. By 9:00 a.m., 57 enemy UAVs were confirmed downed in various regions of Ukraine, with 15 Russian drones lost and up to 9 still observed in Ukrainian airspace. The night raid of “Shahed” had consequences in Sumy, showcasing the impact of the attack. Air alerts were raised in multiple regions as the attack by UAVs began in the south of Ukraine.
