US blacklists 6 Chinese firms for Iran military ties

The US Department of Commerce continues to crack down on entities that defy US controls and pose a threat to national security. The recent additions to the sanctions list include companies in Hong Kong and China for their involvement in activities supporting China’s military and Iran’s drone programs.

The US Treasury has also imposed sanctions on entities in China and Russia, citing reasons related to the Ukraine war and Iran’s missile strikes on occupied Palestinian territories. The US Department of Justice has introduced new laws to safeguard federal government and personal data of Americans from countries like China, Russia, and Iran.

This aggressive stance by the US reflects its ongoing efforts to enforce strict controls and sanctions on countries deemed a threat to national security. The measures target a wide range of countries, including China, Iran, Russia, North Korea, Venezuela, and Cuba, emphasizing the US government’s commitment to safeguarding its interests and data.
