Netanyahu’s house damaged in drone attack – Naharnet

A drone attack hit and lightly damaged Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s private residence over the weekend, as shown by footage published by Israeli media. The attack left cracks and burn marks on the bedroom window, but fortunately, no one was injured as neither Netanyahu nor his wife were present at the time.

Hezbollah claimed responsibility for the attack, with their chief spokesman, Mohammed Afif, hinting at possible future attempts. Afif stated that the group acted independently in carrying out the drone attack on Netanyahu’s house in Caesarea.

Reacting to the incident, Israeli government spokesman David Mencer condemned the assassination attempt, calling it a “grave mistake” by Iran’s proxy Hezbollah. Israel’s military has faced difficulties in intercepting drones, as seen in a recent deadly attack by Hezbollah on an army base.
