During a press conference in Kuwait, Tehran’s top diplomat, Abbas Araghchi, revealed that Iran’s neighbors have pledged not to allow Israel to use their “soil or airspace” for any attack on Iran. Araghchi, who is currently on a regional tour, visited several countries before his visit to Bahrain. He emphasized that Iran is closely monitoring the movements of American bases in the region and warned that any attack on Iran by Israel will be met with a strong response.
With the U.S. being a key ally of Israel and having military installations across the region, tensions are high. Araghchi reiterated that any threat or attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities would be considered a major international crime. He assured that Iran is prepared to defend itself and its nuclear sites using its own tools and methods.
