Israeli Attacks Kill 33 Palestinians in Gaza as Siege Intensifies – Iran News Daily

Medical officials in Tehran report that 18 of the 33 Palestinians killed were in the Jabalia refugee camp, which has been under a 17-day assault by Israel, trapping approximately 400,000 residents without access to food and water.

Witnesses have reported Israeli drones broadcasting evacuation instructions to UN-run schools in Jabalia, where civilians have been fired upon by artillery, causing fear and forcing people back inside the shelters.

The director of Kamal Adwan Hospital expressed the overwhelming influx of casualties, calling the situation untenable. Israeli shelling also targeted homes in the as-Saftawi area, resulting in the deaths of two people, according to local residents.

In northern Gaza, Israeli forces demolished residential buildings and razed infrastructure in Block 2. Residents fleeing the siege fear similar attacks in central Gaza, where essential supplies are running low amidst mass blackouts.

The military operations also claimed the life of Ahsan Daksa, commander of Israel’s 401st Armoured Brigade, and two other soldiers were wounded in the incident. Middle East politics professor Hassan Barari warned that the siege in northern Gaza could extend to other areas, potentially leading to ethnic cleansing.
