Iranian military delegation, led by Brigadier General Vahedi, received a warm welcome at Nur Khan Air Force Base in Islamabad. They were greeted by Pakistani Air Force officials, Iran’s Ambassador to Pakistan Reza Amiri-Moghaddam, and the Iranian military attaché, Colonel Mohammad Mohsen Shahabi.
The Iranian Air Force commander is set to visit the Indus Shield exercise at Mushaf Air Base tomorrow. Brigadier General Vahedi will also meet Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar, the head of the Pakistani Air Force, at the Pakistan Air Force headquarters in Islamabad in the following days. Additionally, he will meet Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff, General Syed Asim Munir, during his official visit.
Recent years have seen significant progress in defense, military, and security cooperation between Iran and Pakistan. The exchange of delegations showcases the strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.
