Iran FM: Prepared for war, not seeking it – Iran News Daily

In a press conference in Kuwait, Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi emphasized the importance of regional cooperation to prevent a disaster in the region. Despite efforts to reduce tension, Iran remains prepared for any scenario, particularly in response to the Zionist regime’s aggression. Araghchi highlighted the critical situation in Gaza and Lebanon, urging Israel to cease its attacks.

Iran maintains a policy of good neighborliness and has received assurances from neighboring countries not to allow their territory to be used against Iran. Araghchi also mentioned monitoring US military movements in the region and collaborating with Kuwaiti authorities on this issue.

With over $10 billion in trade relations with Persian Gulf states, Iran sees significant economic potential with Kuwait. Araghchi reiterated regional opposition to any attack on Iran, emphasizing the international crime of targeting nuclear facilities.

Overall, Iran’s message is clear: promoting peace in the region is a key priority, and dialogue and cooperation are essential to avoid further escalation.
