Eke elected as Boys’ Brigade Lagos Council president

The Boys’ Brigade, Lagos council, has elected Urum Kalu Eke as its eighth President for his dedication and leadership within the organization. The investiture ceremony, held at the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria (PCN) in Lekki, Lagos, also saw the appointment of other office bearers.

Eke, the former Group Managing Director of First Bank Holdings Plc and current Chairman of the Board of Governors, expressed his commitment to uplifting the Boys’ Brigade in Nigeria and supporting the Lagos State Council in nurturing boys spiritually, morally, and financially.

Lagos State Governor, represented by the Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, pledged unwavering support for the Boys Brigade, emphasizing the importance of instilling godly values in the younger generation. The Resident Minister of PCN Lekki parish also congratulated Eke on his historic appointment and encouraged him to lead with humility and mentorship.

With Eke at the helm, the Boys’ Brigade is poised to grow and make a positive impact on the youth, continuing its legacy of building future leaders.
