Compensation given to families of deceased Duki miners in Pakistan

The Balochistan government distributed compensation cheques to the families of 21 miners who were martyred in a recent attack at a coal mine field in Duki district. Each family received Rs1.5 million as compensation, which was handed over by Duki Deputy Commissioner Kaleemullah Kakar.

Chief Minister Bugti also personally visited the injured miners at Quetta Civil Hospital and provided them with compensation in cash. The ceremony was attended by local political leaders and families of the victims, showing solidarity and support during this difficult time.

During the event, DC Kakar reiterated the government’s commitment to ensuring the safety of coal miners in the region. The Balochistan government had previously announced compensation for the affected families as a gesture of support and assistance.
