Chinese Vice President Han Zheng recently met with Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto in Jakarta to discuss strengthening strategic mutual trust and deepening cooperation between the two countries. Han praised Prabowo’s commitment to priorities such as food security and poverty reduction, aligning with President Xi’s people-centered development approach. China expressed support for Indonesia’s development under Prabowo’s leadership and proposed three key areas for future cooperation.
Prabowo reiterated Indonesia’s commitment to deepening ties with China, emphasizing mutual support and international collaboration. The Indonesian government values China as a key partner and aims to continue the friendly policy towards China set by the previous administration of Joko Widodo.
Both leaders agreed to enhance collaboration on various fronts to promote bilateral relations, regional stability, and global development.
