Cabinet approves Jordan-German labour mobility training center

The Cabinet has approved the establishment of a Jordanian-German labour mobility training center to improve the skills of Jordanians and provide job opportunities in Germany. Additionally, amendments were made to the Public Security Personnel Charity Association bylaw in alignment with the 2020 Public Security Law. The Cabinet also approved changes to the Retirement and Support Fund for Agricultural Engineers and the Social Solidarity Fund for Jordanian Construction Contractors.

A new bylaw for licensing cybersecurity service providers was passed to ensure quality services and oversight by the National Cyber Security Centre. Furthermore, electricity services will be extended to major agricultural projects and vital service facilities in various regions. Adjustments were made to create a national park in the Sowan Development Zone in Ajloun Governorate, in support of the Ajloun Cable Car project.

Mechanisms for monitoring the government’s fieldwork were discussed, including holding monthly Cabinet meetings in the governorates. An electronic dashboard will be launched to track project progress and provide updates to the public. A monitoring and registration unit will be established within the Prime Ministry to follow up on observations from the Prime Minister’s weekly field visits.
