Survey finds Kamala Harris losing Jewish support

Recent surveys indicate that US Vice President Kamala Harris may struggle with garnering the support of Jewish voters in the upcoming election, with concerns about antisemitism and lack of support for Israel within the Democratic Party causing some to reconsider their allegiance.

The survey, which polled 658 Jewish voters across the US, highlighted Harris’s challenges on issues like security, Israel, and antisemitism compared to former President Donald Trump, who has been more vocal in supporting Israel.

While Jewish voters often align with Democrats on abortion, their views on immigration, economic policies, and crime differ from both parties. The survey also revealed support for laws banning face masks during protests, especially after recent incidents targeting Jewish students.

Overall, the survey suggests a shift in Jewish voter support towards the Republican party, with only a third still committed to the Democrats. The survey methodology included a national sample of likely Jewish voters, weighted by demographic factors, and had a margin of error of +/- 3.8%.
