Ogun journalist dumped by roadside after brutal abduction

Great news! Freelance journalist, Oluwatosin Oshibanjo, who was recently abducted by unidentified gunmen in his Ijebu home in the Ijebu-Ode Local Government Area of Ogun State, has been found. According to Oluwatosin’s mother, Tokunbo Bakre, he was discovered unconscious by some motorcyclists in the Ijebu-Ode area.

The abduction occurred after Oluwatosin intervened in a human rights violation case involving a lady and a pastor. The lady accused the pastor of impregnating her and trying to coerce her into having abortions, which she refused. She eventually gave birth to a baby she claimed was the pastor’s, although he denied it.

After being found, Oluwatosin revealed that he was brutalized, tortured, and dumped by the roadside by the abductors. They released him upon learning the police were looking for him, claiming to be cultists hired by someone displeased with his work.

Despite the ordeal, Oluwatosin is now recovering in the hospital. The police are yet to comment on the incident as investigations continue.
