In Lebanon, a hospital director is denying accusations made by the Israeli army that Hezbollah is storing money and gold under his hospital. Fadi Alameh, the director of Sahel General Hospital, refuted claims of tunnels under the hospital and stated that the medical center is being evacuated. Alameh, also a member of parliament, called for an inspection by Lebanese authorities to confirm the absence of tunnels.
Alameh clarified that the hospital, located in Beirut’s southern suburb, has underground rooms for surgery and has no political affiliations.
