Iran, Saudi Arabia to Enhance Air Transportation Collaboration

The Civil Aviation Organization of Iran and the Saudi Arabian ambassador in Tehran recently met to discuss expanding air transportation cooperation, easing passenger traffic, and promoting tourism and commercial flights.

The Consul General of Iran in Jeddah also emphasized the importance of increasing cooperation in air transportation with the head of the city’s airports board of directors, highlighting the significance of Iranian and Umrah pilgrims’ journeys and the visa cancellation for Saudi nationals traveling to Iran.

The meeting underscored the role of air transportation in boosting economic and commercial ties between Iran and Saudi Arabia, as well as in attracting more tourists. The Saudi representative welcomed cooperation with Iran and emphasized providing top-notch services to pilgrims at Jeddah Airport.

Overall, the discussions aimed to enhance collaboration between the two countries in the aviation sector and increase the number of flights, ultimately benefiting travelers and fostering strong economic relations.
