The Industrial Development and Renovation Organization of Iran (IDRO) and the Tanzania Trade Development Authority have signed an MoU to boost trade and industrial cooperation.

The fifth Iran-Tanzania Joint Economic Commission meeting marked a 16-year hiatus, with both sides signing 11 cooperation documents. The commitment to enhancing cooperation with African countries, specifically Tanzania, was emphasized.
The sixth meeting of the Iran-Tanzania Joint Commission is scheduled for 2026 in Tehran, showcasing the ongoing efforts to strengthen economic ties between the two nations.
