Doron Almog, Chairman of the Executive at the Jewish Agency for Israel, outlined three key priorities for his organization at the annual Feast of Tabernacles celebration. Firstly, the goal is to bring in a million new olim to Israel to combat rising antisemitism and strengthen the country demographically, economically, and militarily. Secondly, the Jewish Agency aims to foster solidarity among Jews worldwide. Lastly, the organization is focused on creating an inclusive and loving society that strives for excellence while supporting the marginalized.
Almog expressed gratitude to the family of ICEJ President Juergen Buehler for allowing their sons to serve in combat units of the IDF. The ICEJ has been instrumental in assisting olim by covering airfares and donating funds to the Jewish Agency. They have also provided valuable resources like ambulances, ATVs for firefighters, and built shelters.
The ICEJ’s partnership with the Jewish Agency and Jerusalem Municipality highlights their commitment to supporting Israel and its people. Through their efforts, they have facilitated the immigration of 188,000 olim to Israel over the years.
