Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar is expected to attend the summit in his place if the amendments are passed.
King Charles III had formally invited PM Shehbaz Sharif to the CHOGM in Samoa, but recent developments have led to the cancellation of the trip. Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar stated that the draft constitutional package will be presented to the federal cabinet for approval, with proposals from JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman included.

The presentation of the draft has been postponed to Sunday, with political leaders like Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, and Akhtar Mengal in attendance.
