Paratroopers in Kursk Region Honored for Battle Contributions

The Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrskyi, recently awarded over 60 state honors to the servicemen of the Air Assault Forces for their remarkable participation in combat operations in the Kursk region. Syrskyi expressed his gratitude for their high motivation, effective combat performance, and resilience in securing victory for Ukraine. He emphasized the professionalism and determination displayed by Ukrainian soldiers, sergeants, and officers on the battlefield.

By shifting the fighting to the enemy’s territory, the Ukrainian forces successfully prevented the enemy’s offensive actions and drew their strongest units to the Kursk region. This strategic move significantly impacted the enemy’s resources and saved thousands of civilian lives in the border regions of Ukraine. Following his work in military units in Sumy region and Russia’s Kursk region, Syrskyi made decisions aimed at inflicting maximum losses on Russian forces.

The awards ceremony underscores the bravery and dedication of the Ukrainian armed forces in defending their country. It is a testament to their commitment to protecting Ukraine’s sovereignty and ensuring the safety of its citizens.
