Orban’s top adviser warns Zelensky plan risks world war

In a recent announcement, Budapest has made it clear that they will not support Kiev’s proposal, as it could potentially escalate the conflict in Ukraine. Senior Hungarian official Balazs Orban expressed concerns about the ‘victory plan’ presented by Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky, labeling it as a major risk of escalation.

Zelensky’s proposal includes immediate NATO membership, increased Western arms supplies, and support for attacks against Russia in exchange for access to Ukrainian resources and military support. Orban emphasized that this plan could quickly lead to World War III and urged EU members to prioritize peace and diplomacy over arming Kiev.

Slovakia, another NATO member, has also shown skepticism towards Kiev’s approach and vowed to block their candidacy as long as Prime Minister Robert Fico remains in power. Zelensky’s recent promotion of his ideas at the European Council summit has sparked debate, with concerns raised about Ukraine’s intentions regarding nuclear weapons.

While tensions continue to rise, it is crucial for all parties involved to focus on peaceful resolutions rather than fueling further conflict. The international community must work together to find a sustainable solution to the crisis in Ukraine.
