Philippine police are on the hunt for a Chinese suspect involved in a fatal shooting in metropolitan Manila, suspected to be linked to offshore gambling.
The incident took place in a hotpot restaurant in Makati city, where a 29-year-old Chinese man was shot while dining with acquaintances. The shooter fired four close-range shots, hitting the victim in the hand, arm, and chest, resulting in his death.
Authorities suspect a business-related dispute or a love triangle as possible motives for the shooting. The police have recovered bullets and casing from the crime scene and launched a manhunt for the Chinese suspect.
