Leaked Documents Reveals Israel’s Plans for Retaliatory Strike on Iran
A recent leak of top secret documents has raised concerns in the United States regarding Israel’s potential plans for a retaliatory strike on Iran.
The leaked documents, which are marked for viewing by specific countries including the U.S., U.K., Australia, Canada, and New Zealand, detail Israel’s movements of munitions and air force exercises involving air-to-surface missiles.
Dated Oct. 15 and Oct. 16, the documents were leaked to an Iranian Telegram account called “Middle East Spectator.”
Meanwhile, tensions between Israel and Iran continue to escalate following a missile attack by Iran on Oct. 1 and an attempted drone attack on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s residence.
As the U.S. official expresses deep concern over the leak, questions arise regarding whether the documents were deliberately leaked or hacked.
The situation remains tense as Israel mulls over its response to recent provocations from Iran.
