A recently released video by the Israeli military shows Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar with his family inside an underground Gaza tunnel just hours before the October 7 attack that sparked the ongoing conflict. The footage captured Sinwar moving supplies, including a TV, water, and mattresses, into the tunnel in preparation for the assault on Israel. The tunnel, located beneath Sinwar’s family home in Khan Yunis, was equipped with amenities like toilets, showers, and a kitchen.
In his final moments, drone footage revealed Sinwar sitting wounded in a Gaza house before his death. Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz confirmed Sinwar’s elimination after DNA testing. An autopsy conducted by Israel indicated Sinwar received a fatal gunshot wound to the head, with his finger severed for DNA analysis. Despite Hamas claiming Sinwar died heroically in battle, the evidence suggested otherwise. The October 7 attack orchestrated by Sinwar resulted in significant casualties and escalated tensions in the region.
