Firms ink export deals, boost Jordan’s growth

Jordan’s export capabilities received a significant boost as 52 industrial companies signed agreements under the Export Acceleration Program’s second phase. The initiative, led by Export House Company, aims to enhance the nation’s global competitiveness.

Minister of Industry, Trade, and Supply Yarub Qudah emphasized the importance of the program in strengthening Jordan’s economy and supporting local industries in international markets. The government’s commitment to enhancing the industrial sector and overcoming global market challenges was highlighted.

Wissam Rabadi, the Chairperson of Export House Company, praised the program for supporting Jordanian products’ global competitiveness. The program focuses on providing financial support to small and medium-sized enterprises, benefiting 82 SMEs in the initial phase.

Mohammad Jitan, Vice President of Jordanian Industry, stressed the importance of public-private collaboration for the program’s success. The second phase offers financial support of up to 50,000 Jordanian dinars per company to empower SMEs and boost Jordan’s export capabilities.

The Export Acceleration Program will not only help SMEs expand globally but also contribute to job creation and economic growth, aligning with the Economic Modernization Vision’s objectives.
