North Korea Warns Seoul Military Provocations May Lead to War
The North Korean military has issued a strong warning, stating that further military provocations by Seoul could result in a declaration of war. This statement comes after the North Korean Defense Ministry released photos of a crashed South Korean drone that was allegedly used to drop propaganda leaflets over Pyongyang.
The ministry confirmed that the drone belongs to South Korea based on its shape and the leaflet-scattering box attached to it. Pyongyang has cautioned that any violation of its territory will be considered a grave military provocation and could lead to immediate retaliatory action.
Last week, North Korea accused South Korea of sending drones over Pyongyang multiple times, prompting tensions to rise between the two nations. In response, North Korea destroyed road and rail links with the South.
While Seoul has not confirmed the drone flights, it has warned North Korea that any aggression towards South Korea will result in the end of the regime. The situation remains tense as both sides navigate a delicate balance of power.
