Israeli Forces Bomb Refugee Camp in Gaza, Killing Dozens including Women and Children
Israeli forces have bombed a refugee camp in northern Gaza, resulting in the death of at least 33 people, including women and children. The Government Media Office confirmed the casualties, with 21 women among the victims. More than 70 others were also wounded in the attack, with many still trapped under the rubble.
Dr. Mohamad Salha reported that the hospital was overwhelmed with injured women and children, requiring complicated treatment. Despite evacuation orders from the Israeli military, the hospital staff vowed to continue treating those in need.
Additional Israeli strikes across Gaza claimed the lives of at least 39 Palestinians, with residents of Jabalia refugee camp witnessing tanks moving through residential areas. These brutal attacks followed the assassination of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar by Israeli forces.
Since the start of Israel’s genocidal war in 2003, over 42,520 Palestinians, mostly women and children, have been killed, and more than 99,500 others have been injured in Gaza.
