Security forces in Balochistan successfully conducted operations against Fitna al Khawarij, resulting in the death of two terrorists and the apprehension of five others. The operations were carried out in Pishin and Zhob districts, with a large quantity of weapons and explosives seized.
The government had previously designated TTP as Fitna al Khawarij, urging institutions to refer to the perpetrators of terrorist attacks as khariji. President Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif commended the security forces for their efforts in eradicating terrorism and standing up against the country’s enemies.
With a recent surge in attacks targeting security forces in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the determination to combat terrorism remains strong. The TTP’s violation of a ceasefire agreement in 2022 has led to increased violence, with recent attacks claiming the lives of miners and civilians in the region.
