Unveiling the Hidden Heroes of Myanmar’s Struggle for Democracy
Amidst the lush hills of southern Myanmar’s Tanintharyi region, a unique group of rebels, known as the “Muslim Company,” is making waves in the battle against the oppressive military regime. Comprised of 130 soldiers within the Karen National Union (KNU), this diverse group symbolizes the unity and resilience of Myanmar’s fight for freedom.
Led by Mohammed Eisher, the Muslim Company defies stereotypes and embraces inclusivity, showcasing the rich heritage of Myanmar’s Muslim population.
