Economy Minister Fettah Alaoui unveils 2025 Finance Bill in Parliament

Morocco’s Minister of Economy and Finance Presents Draft 2025 Finance Law to Parliament

Today, Morocco’s Minister of Economy and Finance, Nadia Fettah Alaoui, presented the draft 2025 finance law before Parliament. Highlighting the nation’s progress under King Mohammed VI’s leadership, she emphasized the comprehensive development path created over the past quarter-century.

During her presentation, Fettah Alaoui praised the Kingdom’s achievements in various fields, leading to resilience against crises. She also mentioned the consolidation of advanced regionalization and highlighted unique development models in the southern provinces for spatial justice and enhanced regional dynamics.

The Minister detailed efforts on social reforms, generalizing social protection, healthcare system rehabilitation, and education reforms, aimed at increasing citizens’ purchasing power. Economically, she noted improvements in the business climate, investment projects approval process, and financial balance management, with the investment budget increasing from 245 billion dirhams in 2022 to 335 billion in 2024.

Fettah Alaoui expressed pride in the government’s achievements and emphasized the draft 2025 Finance Law’s focus on productive investment, fiscal balance maintenance, and major community projects in water, energy, food security, infrastructure, and public services modernization, aligning with the royal vision for continued progress.
