Drone aimed at Israeli PM’s home

A recent incident involving drones being launched towards Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s private residence in Caesarea has heightened tensions in the region. Fortunately, neither Netanyahu nor his wife were present, and no injuries were reported. This follows earlier reports of three drones being launched from Lebanon into Israel, with one hitting a building in Caesarea.

The Israeli Defense Forces have intercepted two drones, but one still managed to hit a building in Caesarea without causing any injuries. The Israeli government has not confirmed if the building was part of the Prime Minister’s residence or the extent of the damage.

As the conflict escalates, Israel has been retaliating by targeting locations in Lebanon associated with the Iran-backed Hezbollah group. In response, Lebanon has reported casualties from Israeli strikes, including two deaths in Jounieh. The attack is notable as it deviates from previous operations that focused on areas with a Hezbollah presence.

The situation remains tense as both sides continue to exchange fire, raising concerns about a potential escalation in hostilities.
