Chinese Vice President Han Zheng is set to attend the inauguration of Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto in Jakarta on October 20. He will also visit Indonesia from October 19 to 21 and then head to Brunei from October 21 to 23, as announced by Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning on Friday.
China and Indonesia have a strong history of friendship and cooperation, with bilateral relations entering a new stage of jointly building a community with a shared future. Han, as the special representative of President Xi Jinping, will engage in discussions with Indonesian leaders to enhance mutual interests and deepen cooperation.
In Brunei, Han will meet with Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah and Crown Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah to strengthen ties and cooperation in various sectors. China aims to bolster traditional friendships, promote regional peace, stability, and prosperity through this visit.
